C-LIGHT FWDM (Filter Wavelength Division Multiplexer) is an optical device based on thin-film filter (TFF) technology, designed to efficiently multiplex or demultiplex specific wavelength combinations (e.g., 1310/1490/1550 nm) over a single fiber, enabling coexistence of multi-service signals (data, voice, video).
By selectively reflecting or transmitting wavelengths through multi-layer dielectric films, it supports bidirectional communication (e.g., 1310 nm uplink and 1490/1550 nm downlink) with high channel isolation (>30 dB), low insertion loss (<0.5 dB), and a compact design. Widely used in FTTH, PON systems, and CATV networks, FWDM ensures low crosstalk and high stability for multi-wavelength transmission while simplifying fiber infrastructure and reducing deployment costs.
