C-LIGHT CAT6a LAN Cable (Category 6 Augmented Ethernet cable) is a high-performance twisted-pair cable supporting 10 Gbps speeds and 500 MHz bandwidth, designed for reliable 10GBASE-T transmission over distances up to 100 meters. It utilizes shielded (STP) or unshielded (UTP) designs with enhanced pair twisting and shielding to reduce crosstalk (NEXT) and external interference, complying with ISO/IEC 11801 Class Ea or TIA-568-C.2 standards. Backward compatible with RJ45 connectors, CAT6a is widely used in data centers, enterprise networks, and high-definition video applications. Offering improved high-frequency performance over CAT6 at a lower cost than CAT7, it balances speed, affordability, and compatibility, making it a mainstream solution for gigabit networks.
